  13.     I'm currently doing a port from BSD 4.3 to SysV 3.2 and I've run up 
  14. against a brick wall: ftruncate().. The code I use desperately needs this call
  15. and there's no easy SysV r3.2 equivalent.
  16.  
  17.     If anyone knows a workaround for this, or (even better) knows of any
  18. compatibility source/libs I'd be quite grateful if you'd fill me in...
