- ISC 3.0 and probably other unices have support for CD-ROM drives. The
- good news is that every CD-ROM around uses the standard ISO file format,
- so you can read the files under Unix. The bad news is that every CD-ROM
- around also comes with a unique grotty little program to decode the
- contents of the files, so if you can't run it you can't make much sense
- out of what's in the files. With luck, you might coax it to work under
- vp/ix or Merge, but it'll be an exercise in frustration.
