  10. I am trying to get the X11R4 binaries to work on my 386 box that is
  11. running AT&T System V release 3.2 version 2.1. If I run X, it gives
  12. me the following error
  13. $ X386
  14. Creating TCP socket: No such file or directory
  15. >- It then goes into some kinda graphics mode (can hear monitor re synch)
  16. >- and then gives the following message
  17. Memory fault - core dumped
  18. $
  19. Yes, X386 and X are both setuid to root, all the files are there, there
  20. are virtual terminals available, vtlmgr is running, but the virtual terminal
  21. stuff doesn't seem to matter one way or the other...
  22. Has anybody gotten X386 to run on this box?  Or, can SVR3.2.2 even run X?
  23. Any help would be appreciated...
