  27. Let's not forget the telephone lines!!  I had an expensive system badly 
  28. damaged this way.  I had all sorts of protection on my power, but when
  29. lightning hit the tree in my front yard, both my phones and modem and part
  30. of my PC were damaged.  There are lightning arrestors on telephone lines
  31. coming in, but a hit that close can generate electricity in the wires in 
  32. your house.  It also "Gaussed up" every TV in the house :-)
