- Hi,
-
- We are in the final testing phases of an application which we have developed
- on a PC platform under SCO Unix. Our first really big potential customer
- is asking for a demonstration on their system. Problem: their systems
- run on NCR Towers.
-
- My questions are:
- 1) Will we find that source compatibility is a myth? (It's a pretty
- simple program. Mostly standard C and curses calls.)
- 2) We don't really want to come out and say "uh, it doesn't run on your
- system yet". Is it possible to rent a full development system for a
- minimal amount of time in order to recompile it?
- 3) What does a minimal usable NCR Tower cost?
- 4) Any other words of wisdom?
-
- Thanks,
-
