- Here's one that uses a geometry Fujitsu recommends. Note that the
- cylinder count is greater than the physical - evidently it is more
- important that the head and sectors/track count stay correct. The swap
- is figured for if you want to run X with 8 MB RAM. If you want to
- change this configuration, keep in mind that the root and usr partition
- sizes must be a multiple of 16 (the cpg value for ba#8192). The
- product nt * ns * nc must not exceed 1015812 - the number of sectors
- that you are allowed to use (you can use more, but then you defeat the
- disks spare sector remapping). The pc: and pd: values must
- reflect your 386BSD and whole disk sizes, respectively.

- Finally, if you use the disk under DOS, you will notice that it only
- sees 496 cylinders. This is actually the geometry I use on my SCSI disk
- (M2624FA), but this evidently won't work with IDE. The problem is that
- 386BSD disables IDE sector translation which makes this possible.
