  10. Everybody got X running but me...

  12. I have installed the complete 386-dist and X386BSD binaries.
  13. After modification of the kernel, applying two patches and increasing
  14. the swap partition, my system is reasonably stable now.

  18. When i start X with xinit, i receive the two lines of banner and the machine
  19. just hangs infinitely iuntil rebooted.

  21. My config is:

  23. 466 / 33 Mhz
  24. 486 /33 Mhz 16 Mb ram
  25. SCSI Adaptec 1542 with Miniscribe 9380 ( 300 Mb )
  26. com1, com2 and lpt1
  27. Tseng Labs vga with ET4000
  28. Western Digital WE 8003E

  30. I have 32 Mb of swap
