- Well, so Now I can compile kernels and start porting my scsi
- stuff, but one thing remeains to be done..
-
- I cannot get my wd elite16T to be recognised by the kernel
-
- As far as I can see from comments other people have made
- in this newsgroup, this is a supported board.
-
- The settings of the board match those in the config file
- so, I would have expected that it would have found it,
- however NO message is printed out regarding that
- device during the boot.
-
- I only re-joined this group recently after a couple of
- weeks away from it (for work reasons). Has there
- been any information regarding this board that
- I have missed out on?
-
- I have it configured to Int=3, mem=D0000, port=280
- (one of the defaults for the board.)
- We run it with this configuration under MACH
- and this board was last seen working.
- I have no com ports to clash with it, so this configuration SHOULD work.
-
- If no-one has any ideas then I suppose I'll be able to
- figure it out but each delay keeps me away from the
- scsi stuff which is the aim of the exercise.
