- When I run my 386bsd machine as a regular UNIX box it works fine.
- But after I run X I start having some problems.
-
- 1. If I have getty enabled on the other com port the mouse
- only sends events after you press a key..(I've installed the new
- com driver by Chris)
-
- 2. xterm works when ran as a regular user, but if you run it as
- root it comes up and then dies, no error messages. The program is setuid
- root.
-
- 3. The X sometimes hangs the machine and I have to reboot.
-
- 4. The su command sometimes hangs. Putting printf's in the code, it seems
- to be hanging in the syslog part. Either at openlog or at one of the
- other log statements. syslogd is running and it does log messages, so
- it works.. Also xconsole is running, but I dont' know if that is
- affecting it.
-
- Thanks for the help.
