  15. I got mail from Bill stating that he will eventually make it
  16. available, but he feels the code is not in sufficiently good
  17. shape to do so right now.  He sounds pretty busy (surprise). ;-)

  19. As another alternative, would it be possible for a shell-wizard
  20. to achieve roughly the same results as the install program by
  21. writing a script?  Obviously the FDISK partition work would
  22. require a C program, and perhaps disk IOCTLS need a program do
  23. do it, but the computations labeling and computation seem like
  24. shell fodder...

  26. (thinking about it, perhaps using shell output and DD one could
  27. do the fdisk work without C code?)
