  13. My setup:
  14. 386DX 33MHz
  15. AMI BIOS (04/09/90)
  16. fd0: 1.44MB
  17. fd1: 1.2MB
  18. RAM: 4M
  19. wd0: MAXTOR 7040 AT (40MB IDE)
  20. wd1: MAXTOR 7040 AT (40MB IDE)
  21.     Two Questions:
  22. 1)  wd1 has three areas that get hard write errors.  What do I do?
  23.  
  24. 2)  My disktab entries for the drives reserve 5 cylinders on each drive
  25. for bad sector mapping.  I read that one shouldn't use bac144 with IDE
  26. drives.  Does that mean that I don't need to reserve the 5 cylinders?
