  32. You *must* patch the kernel.  This is not an option.  Patches are in the
  33. X distribution.  This will continue to be the case until such time as the
  34. patches are incorportated into the standard kernel and it is rereleased.

  36. Anyone with an already patched kernel without too much garbage in it (mine
  37. has 3 extra file systems, only 2 of which currently work, patches to the
  38. boot code, patches to the page table code, the starlan driver, and a hacked
  39. hi/lo density floppy driver) care to ftp it up to agate.berkeley.edu for
  40. this guy and his friend?
