  15. Hello there,
  16.     After reading the FAQ, I decided to try out the latest version
  17. of X11R5 on Wuarchive.
  18.     Although I had little problem downloading and even getting the
  19. archive unzooed I have a comment and a request.
  20.  
  21. 1)    It is a real shame to provide a script (makelinks) that destroys
  22.     the original version on the distribution (X11R4)
  23.  
  24. 2)    when one tries to log in, the option in the login window is set up
  25.     to run the script /usr/bin/X11/startxc which I have not been able
  26.     to locate. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THIS SHOULD CONTAIN.

  28. As usual, I can no longer use X windows and am a little annoyed. I could
  29. go and reinstall the X11R4 from the CD, but that would be a large step
  30. backwards.
