- Why is it out of the question? Running a back-finger program assumes
- that the other side has a finger daemon. Moreover there's no guarantee
- that you can get any useful information from the backfinger. There
- _is_ a guarantee that you will get useful (and correct) information
- if there is an RFC931 daemon. What's more you don't have to modify
- any existing programs to do this.
