  17. I have learned of 3 alternatives to the Sun optical mouse.  
  18.  
  19. The first two are by Logitech.  One is a mechanical mouse, the other is
  20. the Trackman. They work on both Series 3 and Series 4 keyboards.

  22. The third is trackball manufactured by MicroSpeed.
  23.  
  24. All three of these can be obtained from the Qualix Group in San Mateo,
  25. CA.  I went by their offices this morning, and they let me use all 3
  26. devices so I could select the one that worked best for me.  I decided on
  27. the Logitech Trackman -- it was by far the most comfortable for me.  The
  28. retail prices for the devices range from $139 to $199.
