- This is easy to implement even with older shoeboxes. One only needs to
- buy a thumbwheel switch, which needs to be connected to the jumpers on
- the e.g. MD21 controller. Then one can select the ID just by 'wheeling'
- and not jumpering. I have not looked inside an external Sun drive
- enclosure, but would not be surprised if this is how its done there,
- too. The switches can be bought for a few dollars a piece.
