- I use tip on a 3/60 between 2400 to 38400 baud DTE speed without problems.
- I assume that the modem does not autobaud correctly. Is there a way to set
- the DTE speed on the modem? Set it to the speed you have in /etc/remote.
- In some modems there is not explicit command to set the DTE rate. In this
- case you hook it up to a computer which can talk to the modem the desired
- speed and do AT&W. Then the DTE should be set to the speed this AT&W was
- given at.
