  12. One of my disks has started producing a large (about 2 per hour)
  13. number of (header not found) errors on reads and writes. Does this
  14. mean that the disk is about to die a gruesome death? It seems to be
  15. able to recover from most of the errors, but the large number of
  16. errors is beginning to worry me. Is there anything I can do to avoid
  17. the impending crash, such as reformatting the disk? By the way the
  18. disk is controlled by a Xylogics 7053 (xd) controller. Any info would
  19. be very appreciated.
