- I use tcsh for interactivity, but sh for batch/backgroud stuff.
-
- Zip is looking at my shell var, and running tcsh. Including
- the interactive aliases which may prompt me for stuff.
-
- .ziprc should have a shell option, and it should default to
- the Borne Shell (sh) instead of the shell variable.
-
- In the mean time, us use a shell script wrapper that sets and exports
- the SHELL=/bin/sh;export SHELL.
-
- Any hope of preserving symlinks with zip ? Incrimental backups instead of
- .sav ?
-
- I must say that the undo/redo is so good that backups have not been a problem.
- I would like to save the undo/redo buffer between sessions.
-
- Cheers!
-
- Dan.
