- Hi,
-
- current situation:
- A VideoLab (VGX320) gets its input via a SONY Laserdisc, which
- acts as composite->RGB converter. The Disc doesn't like being
- fed from a recorder (even JVC S-VHS professional stuff) without
- a (pricy) time-base-corrector (that's what SONY told me).
-
- Now the Question:
- Does the VideoLab accept input directly from a recorder, even
- when the timing is not 100% accurate (composite->RGB done by
- an external non-tbc converter ) ?
- Anyone got experience with not-using a TBC ? Whatabout dropouts ?
-
- (Oh yes, well, don't tell me a TBC is generally a Good Thing,
- I just wonder how far I come without one on the Videolab).
-
- Any plans to feed the nice Comp. and S-Video connectors on the
- VideoLab output box ?
-
- many TIA,
-
- Peter
