  15. I asked this question a while back and only got one response.  The
  16. response said to try an HPGL to PostScript converter available from
  17. swedishchef.lerc.nasa.gov in the programs directory as hpgl2ps.tar.Z.

  19. I tried this however, and only had limited success.  There were various
  20. minor problems in getting the output at a reasonable scale and at a
  21. reasonable location on the page and on a reasonable page size.  The
  22. bigger problem was that the fonts seemed to be rendered about 4 times
  23. too large.  All of these problems together made it more work than it was
  24. worth to me.

  26. However the package would be an excellent starting point for any
  27. projects like a direct HPGL viewer, since the source was pretty
  28. readable and contained an HPGL parser than was easy to extend.
