- Now that I've had my coffee, I see I was being rather parochial. I thought
- you were talking about the release notes for mail/Mail/sendmail in eoe,
- Chapter 4, Networking, but you meant the statement in eoe, Chapter 3, IRIX,
- that says:

- o The system default was changed to the eight-bit ISO
- Latin-1 character set in this release. Some programs
- assume that characters are seven bits and may behave
- incorrectly.
