- The installation guide is indeed a great help! SGI has come a LONG way with
- their documnentation. I still have one question ( and I hope it's not a FAQ).
- If I have to build a system disk from scratch ( in this case a DAT tape made
- using distcp), how do I get sash and ide on the new disk's volume header?
-
- (OH, This drive is not shipped from SGI)
-
- Using the bootable DAT tape, I can format the drive, but without sash on the
- volume header, forget about using the choice #2 from the PROM (Install system)
- or #4 (Recover System).
-
- Thanx in Advance!!!
