  26. You didn't by any chance change the kernel or the system disk at
  27. the same time did you?  Perhaps the kernel is trashed or the wrong
  28. one.  I'd try loading a miniroot and see if that works (or booting
  29. another 4D25 kernel over the net (from PROM monitor or sash, try
  30. bootp()somemachine:someunixfile ; the pathname must be allowed by
  31. tftpd on the server, see comments in /usr/etc/inetd.conf).

  33. If you disconnect the Exabyte, will the system boot normally?  If
  34. not, you probably have a bad /unix.
