  12. The weekly puzzler from BU:

  14. A 4D-240 here has developed a rather peculiar problem.  When
  15. the machine is first booted there's no problem using the tape
  16. drive, but a little while after that (maybe 1 hour) attempts
  17. to open the device return ENODEV. If it's rebooted, everything
  18. is fine again .. for a little while.

  20. For instance now I'm using distcp to copy 4.0.5.  When I boot
  21. the machine I can use distcp fine, but after the first tape was
  22. done (sucessfuly) the drive disappeared!

  50.        appears in hinv (before and after the "disappearance.")
