  15. I am trying to do a remote backup using the visual administration
  16. tools.  I keep getting the following message.

  18. " The system is unable to open the remote tape device"
  19.  
  20. This lead me to the man page on bru.  I apparently must have
  21. a brutab entry to make this work.  My question is:  With this as
  22. the "mt status" for the tape drive I want to go to what is the 
  23. proper brutab entry?

  32. I can't quit figure out the correct format to make this work.  
  33. Or what to type in the Remote Host line in the vadmin stuff.

  35. Any ideas, or better yet is there a manual that I have
  36. not looked at that will answer my question?

  38. Incedently I can use tar with no problems to do remote backups using
  39. the following line:

  41.    blueox:# tar cvf woodsy:/dev/tape myfiles.c
