  13. We have a network setup with six NeXT. Recently, we added on three external  
  14. hard drives and the system got much slower. The system was set up in such a  
  15. way that many directories are mounted as file systems. For example,
  16. /LocalLibrary 
  17. /NextDeveloper
  18. /NextLibrary/Literature
  19. /NextLibrary/Documentation
  20. /NextLibrary/References
  21. /LocalApps
  22. /usr/spool/mail
  23. and various /clients 
  24. are all mounted in this way. 
  25. Could this contribute to the slow down?
