- We have a network setup with six NeXT. Recently, we added on three external
- hard drives and the system got much slower. The system was set up in such a
- way that many directories are mounted as file systems. For example,
- /LocalLibrary
- /NextDeveloper
- /NextLibrary/Literature
- /NextLibrary/Documentation
- /NextLibrary/References
- /LocalApps
- /usr/spool/mail
- and various /clients
- are all mounted in this way.
- Could this contribute to the slow down?
