  11. I can't print from TeXview to a local NeXT printer.  The printer connected to  
  12. this machine works find with other NeXT software. I can print the same document  
  13. from TeXview on other NeXT printers without any problems.  The console produces  
  14. a message that it can't find /dev/printer when I try to print from TeXview. The  
  15. printer= is sure enough of missing on this machine and is present on the others  
  16. I have looked at.  Is it possible to recreate the missing socket without  
  17. reinstalling the entire distribution?
