- Howdy:
- In anticipation of the 3.0 release on cdrom, I would like to
- determine the possibility of using the cdrom drive on our SGI Personal
- Iris box. I already have determined that I can export the drive, I did
- so using a SGI cdrom, what concerns me is what kind of format NeXT is
- using for the distribution cdrom and whether SGI can read that format.
- As this really is two questions, I am cross-posting to both
- comp.sys.next.sysadmin and comp.sys.sgi (hoping that each group will
- answer the question specific to it), followups directed to
- comp.sys.next.sysadmin.
-
- So, for you NeXT folks, what is the filesystem type of the
- distribution cdroms? and for you SGI fols, what filesystem types can
- be read by the SGI cdrom driver?
-
- Thanks for your help, you may email me and I will summerize if
- there is interest.
