  34. Begin checking for error messages on your system console.  I would then begin  
  35. looking in /usr/spool/mqueue/syslog to see why sendmail is failing.  If mail is  
  36. not even bouncing back to the user, there is a chance the problem may be  
  37. because sendmail does not know your host.  Check NetInfo for correct local  
  38. machine host configurations.
