- Greetings... I have three NeXTs and two D.G Aviions networked
- together. Initially, I didn't have netinfo running. I could send
- mail from the NeXTs to the D.G.s no problem and also NeXTmail
- between the NeXTs. Then I hooked up a HP Laserjet IIP and found
- that
- I couldn't print remotely unless I had netinfo running and a netinfo
- server. So I configured my NeXT as the server and the printer works
- fine both remotely and locally. BUT now I can't recieve mail from
- ANYBODY! If I send mail to myself it just dissapears (ie, it isn't
- even returned to the sender with some error message). I tried
- setting up my machine as the mail server too but that didn't change
- anything.
-
- Obviously I'm rather ignorant of networking in general and netinfo
- specifically. I could really use some help other than NeXTs
- somewhat cryptic (to me, anyway) sysadmin book that comes with the
- computers. Thanks in advance!
