- Why does it always seem that the .edu'ers never understand the economics of
- running a business? If I had a package that was across a number of platforms,
- MOST of my effort and new design would be on that platform that sold the most,
- irregardless of the lack of elegance on that platform. I gotta eat, pay my
- employees and survive until tomorrow. A company the size of Word Perfect would
- go broke if they concentrated on putting all the newest bells and whistles on
- one of their smallest platforms (by sales), while their competitors ate away at
- their `cash cow' by questioning their commitment to Windows in all the rags.
