  15. I seem to have encountered a problem in the way the "login" program stores
  16. ptys in utmp. But perhaps am I going to far; here are the facts.

  54. This happens either when (as above) I call login from a login shell in an
  55. xterm, when I run "xterm -e login" or when I call "exec login" in a non-login
  56. shell in an xterm. It doesn't happen when I log through /dev/ttyx1 on a vt100.

  58. Now I'm a little bit confused and I would appreciate some (or any) help...
