  18. Many inits won't load if you are holding a modifier key down.  This is
  19. deliberate behaviour on their part.  Sounds like one of the modifier
  20. keys on your keyboard is giving you problems.  Try swapping keyboards
  21. (with the power OFF!) and see if the problem moves with the keyboard.
