  18.  Many kind folks have replied via e-mail, telling me to put aliases of the
  19.  desired items in the Startup Items folder. I know about this; I guess I
  20.  should have been more clear initially.

  22.  What I want is a way to set startup of the currently RUNNING applications and
  23.  DAs. System 6 Finder's Set Startup could do this, but this functionality
  24.  seems lost in 7.
