- I.Reid|> Sparcs will read and write the same physical format as MS-DOS and Mac

- +++++++++++
- Completely false.
- It WILL work, using "/bin/fdformat -d".
- Then, you can copy (mcopy), delete (mdel), eject(eject),
- rename (mren), make a directory (mmd), change
- permissions (mattrib), list a directory contents
- (mdir), remove a directory (mrd), change to a
- directory (mcd), label (mlabel) and see the content
- of a file (mtype).
-
- This works on a Sparc II, and should work on Sparcs
- I, but the Sparc I we have here has no floppy driver.
-
- Then, you take the floppy at home, put it in your
- Mac, run AFE, translate and enjoy.
- Don't forget to edit your files (with Alpha for
- instance) and to rewrite them after replacing the
- end-of-line Unix character by the Macintosh one.
