- Taligent is doing no work for the PowerPC project. First, I think PowerPC
- is the name of the hardware architecture. What you're thinking of is
- PowerOpen, which *is* an operating system. But PowerOpen is an Apple/IBM
- joint project that doesn't involve Taligent at all.

- Taligent does have a marketing department, and the company can and does
- deal with the kinds of marketing decisions you talk about. Apple and IBM
- are separate companies with their own goals and marketing strategies.
