  12. I didn't say AOL was bad.  Once I get the hang of their software I intend to
  13. keep it and scrap CI$.  It is true, anything I can do with CI$ I can do with 
  14. AOL cheaper.  I have though, been with GEnie for a few years and intend also
  15. to stay with them.

  17. My gripe with AOL is that there's no capacity for **learning**.  At some time
  18. and at some point with any other BBS you have to type the characters 'ATDT' 
  19. followed by a phone number.  With AOL it's possible to logon without even      
  20. knowing what their phone number is.

  22. To download files one normally uses some sort of protocol, no?  Zmodem, B+, 
  23. Kermit, xmodem, etc.  Tell me, what protocol does AOL use?  What is an AOL
  24. user going to do when he see his first menu of download protocols?
