- Ay, there's the rub (as Hamlet says) -- the original Mac design was that
- each pixel would be one point (1/72 inch), but nowadays many factors may
- alter that base -- e.g., monitor/video board combinations such as the Apple
- 12-inch monitor on an LC or some third-party sets. Also, there
- is a print scaling option in the Print Setup (or Print) dialog box; I'm not
- at a Mac to check.
