  11. I have successfully written a few XCMDs under HC 1.2.5 and I am now trying
  12. a new project that involves writing an XCMD under 2.x. I want to write an 
  13. XCMD that interprets a styled text field and returns the offsets in the field
  14. of each change in font, size, or style. Yes, I know this can be done in a
  15. script but this process is ludicrously slow. My questions are the following:

  17.     (1) Could someone please mail me an new ".h" file for the glue
  18.         routines for HC2.x, preferably one that has brief interface
  19.         descriptions for the new calls and object types. If this is
  20.         available from some well-known place on the internet, a pointer
  21.         to it will suffice.
  22.  
  23.     (2) Could someone please mail me a description of the data struct for
  24.         a styled text object?
  25.  
  26.     (3) If there already exists an XCMD/XFCN that does something like
  27.         this, a pointer to that would be nice.
