  12. In order to improve our records and to keep up with the quantity of food
  13. that we are distributing each week (over 3500 pounds) to needy families,
  14. FREE the NEED is looking for a donation of a MACINTOSH SE-30 or better with
  15. 4 megabytes of memory.  We are also interested in higher-end PC's.  Any
  16. type of computer donated would need to run Lotus/Excel, and a good
  17. wordprocessing program.

  19. On behalf of needy people who receive surplus food and clothing through
  20. FREE the NEED, we would like to ask for help in finding a computer for
  21. administrating our programs.

  23. FREE the NEED is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to redistributing
  24. surplus produce, bread, dairy, and canned goods, along with clothing,
  25. shoes, and other valuable goods.   Any donation would be federally tax
  26. deductible.  Started in 1989, the food and clothing distribution program
  27. has increased by over 300% in the last year alone.  It is imperative with the
  28. strain of the current economy that people have increasing needs for any
  29. surplus.

  31. FREE the NEED is an all-volunteer organization that distributes food,
  32. clothing, shoes, and other goods to needy families and to shelters in the
  33. San Francisco, North Bay and Calistoga areas.

  35. FREE the NEED also welcomes donations of time, love, money, clothing,
  36. food, or whatever.
