- We have a Mac IIsi and a Mac SE30 connected to an HP LaserJet III
- printer via AppleTalk. No problems running both on system 6. Upon converting
- the IIsi to system 7.0 w/Tuneup 1.1.1, a number of problems related to
- printing have occurred. With background printing turned ON, a message is
- displayed which states that a printer needs to be chosen from Chooser.
- Doing this (choosing the LaserJet driver in Chooser) has no effect, same
- message appears. With background printing turned OFF, printing is possible
- sometimes while occasionally we are prompted to load a valid LaserJet Prep
- file despite the fact that one is in the System Folder. What could be the
- problem? This is a very busy printer (many users) and I would be most
- grateful if someone could help us via e-mail or posting to this newsgroup.
