  19. I've had one in my Quadra for about 6 months and I LIKE it.  It is the 
  20. quietest drive I've ever encountered.  Not only is it virtually silent 
  21. while running, it barely makes any noise while accessing.  When I replace 
  22. another external I have, I plan on getting another Maxtor like it.

  24. From a speed standpoint, I think it's a bit slower than a Quantum.  I think
  25. that, at least in my Quadra, other drives might be faster.  I'm not sure 
  26. the difference would be noticeable, however.
