- Dear Mr.Scully,
- When most computer companies update their range of computers, they make them
- faster. Why is Apple going backwards? Why would any sensible human being
- design a computer around a 16Mhz 030? Why have such a bewildering range?
- Why not make the best computer in its class and concentrate on large scale
- production to bring the cost down?
- After producing a list of expansion slot standards longer than the great
- wall of China, Apple seems to be doing the same for video standards. A 16Bit
- video standard of all things?
- I love my Mac, but I can't see any reason for updating to the latest round
- of offerings from Apple.
- I'm sure the difference in manufacturing costs between a 16 and a 33Mhz
- machine are not too prohibitive. It seems you marketing people are running
- your company. If so, go back to selling Pepsi and bring back Steve Jobs and
- Steve Wozniak.
