- I upgraded my Quadra 700 to the fullest possible amount of VRAM. I'm fairly
- confident that the VRAM is of the right type and that the SIMMS are in
- properly. When I powered up my monitors control panel gave me the option
- of 'millions' of colors. When I select it my Apple Hi-res monitor goes
- crazy ... thin vertical lines about two thirds across the screen, ghost
- images about three inches to the right. If I switch back to 256 it is
- fine. I'm using the built in video card.
-
- If you have any ideas about the problem here I'd appreciate an e-mail
- reply. thanks.
