  12. I upgraded my Quadra 700 to the fullest possible amount of VRAM.  I'm fairly
  13. confident that the VRAM is of the right type and that the SIMMS are in 
  14. properly.  When I powered up my monitors control panel gave me the option
  15. of 'millions' of colors.  When I select it my Apple Hi-res monitor goes
  16. crazy ... thin vertical lines about two thirds across the screen, ghost
  17. images about three inches to the right.  If I switch back to 256 it is
  18. fine.  I'm using the built in video card.
