- According to my limited memory (and a quick perusal of Apple Tech Note #176)
- the resistor (only one) that needs to be cut is the one labelled "256K BIT"
- which is located in a little white silkscreened box on the logic board
- labelled "RAM SIZE". Just clip one end of it, and bend it away from the cut
- end, that way, If you need to return the board to a 1MB configuration,
- you can do so easily.
