  16.  I am interested in the purchase of a video card for a MacCI(13"Sony). I'm
  17.  looking at 8 bit video card (budject limit). Does anyone have prices and 
  18.  performance reports and reliability on these cards?

  20.  I would like know configuration details, VRAM etc. I have recently seen in
  21.  MacUser magazines, accelerated 8 bit cards. No reports, just averts. I realise
  22.  these are faster and more costly, but this maybe the go.

  24.  Has anyone had any experience with any of these cards? Reliability is important
  25.  as the unit will be used in Oz. My sister-inlaw will be visiting Laguna Hills
  26.  CA US in November.

  28.  Mac stuff is very expensive here in Oz eg. the Official Apple RRP price of the
  29.  8.24GC card + VRAM kit including tax is $3590.
