  20. That describes *exactly* what one of the Apple 13" monitors in our
  21. department does, too.  It was purchased last January, so it's still
  22. under warranty.  We haven't taken it in for repair yet.  The jumping is
  23. intermittent, which makes it hard to demonstrate...it happens
  24. maybe two to four times a day.

  26. Perhaps those of us who have seen this problem should compare serial numbers;
  27. maybe it's a quality control problem in a certain manufacturing run.

  29. If you've seen this problem, just email me the serial number of the
  30. afflicted monitors and I'll see if they're close.
