  27. The man needs to borrow a handle and a hat--one to jump from, the other
  28. to speak through.  Or at least a stress pill.  Calm, calm....

  30. If you want to learn something about playing the piano, have a
  31. not-embarrassingly-bad MIDI (yes, real MIDI) keyboard, and not spend a
  32. big bundle, the Miracle system is well worth a look.  It'll teach very
  33. patiently, isn't ever late for a lesson, and costs a darn sight less
  34. than 6 months of piano rental or 2 months of piano lessons.

  36. No one would accuse The Software Toolworks of attempting to remove
  37. typing teachers from the workforce with Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, or
  38. de-employing music teachers with The Miracle.  They're just very good
  39. products for learning without spending giant wads o' cash.

  41. The "electronic music" aspect--no one would accuse The Miracle of
  42. sounding like a Steinway & Sons, nor would you accuse the "foot pedal"
  43. of having any touch.  But do you need those things to teach a kid (or
  44. yourself) something about keyboards?

  46. No one is trying to shut down the conservatories and music schools with
  47. this thing: they're making piano teaching more available and affordable.
