- I don't think Intel has any chips or boards yet that implement
- MPEG. They do have DVI chips and boards, which implement
- Intel's proprietary compression algorithms, which are based on
- vector quantization rather than DCT. A new generation DVI chip
- (code named V3) has been promised by Intel for this year that
- is supposed to implement MPEG as well, but the rumor is that
- the new chips are late and won't ship this year.
