  18. I don't think Intel has any chips or boards yet that implement
  19. MPEG. They do have DVI chips and boards, which implement
  20. Intel's proprietary compression algorithms, which are based on
  21. vector quantization rather than DCT. A new generation DVI chip
  22. (code named V3) has been promised by Intel for this year that
  23. is supposed to implement MPEG as well, but the rumor is that
  24. the new chips are late and won't ship this year.
